Crossing CORE 2.1 eRig Review - Best Low Cost Electric Dab Rig

In the past few years there has been a boom in the electronic dab device world and now it's actually possible to get a solid device without breaking the bank. The Crossing Core 2.1 was a nice surprise in performance for the price. This device made it on my Top 5 Best E-Rig List, and is one of the best low cost options. While I don't have much experience with the Crossing Core 2.0, the previous device with a rebuildable atomizer. I do have a decent amount of experience using the Crossing Core 2.1 and 2.2, their version of a 3D chamber. I can honestly say this is a really good choice for someone looking to get into concentrates without spending hundreds of dollars. A lot of cheap dab setups that include a piece, banger, torch, cap, etc. are about the same price as this eRig. One thing I like about this device is you can choose the glass top it comes with. A lot of people instantly look to upgrade the glass when they get their device, so being able to choose starting glass is very nice. The entire device is pretty low cost and all of the parts can be purchased separately at a pretty reasonable price. Not too many companies will just let you buy a new base for your device without purchasing an entire new setup. Performance wise you get some great hits even though this device only features 4 dab settings. The device isn't as smart as others and doesn't have active temperature reading. This can mean running the dab cycle back to back can cause your chamber to get hotter than you may have intended. Also the default hit for this device is 80 seconds which is longer than a lot of people would like. However you can cut the hits off with the push of a button. It's not as smart as other device, but once you get the hang of it it really does perform well. I like the metallic body which is refreshing in a world of plastic.
